Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that the Word of God is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. At TLC, we love to teach the Word! We have several Bible Studies and classes.
What’s in the Bible?
This is our basic course for new converts or anyone looking for general knowledge of the Bible. This class is taught during our ‘Coffee with Pastor’ time before our Sunday service. New comers are always welcome! We have a 12-lesson Bible Study that will lead you from Genesis to Revelation. By request, this class can be an individual study done in your home. These lessons give you a broad view of the entire Bible, highlighting major events, the Biblical plan of salvation and how to live a holy life. If you are new to the Bible or want to refresh what you’ve learned, this is the class for you.
Transformation Bible Institute
Every Sunday we have a in depth training for new members. We offer 25 classes of non-chronological lessons that provide training for the mature Christian student. Here you learn Bible doctrines taught by our pastors. You will learn how to experience and live a transformation of life. The church origin, vision and core values are taught, making this class the transition into membership. You will also define, develop and deploy your spiritual giftings and ministry in these classes. If you are looking to add to your knowledge of the Bible or get involved in leadership, these classes are for you.
Marriage: Love & Respect
God instituted marriage in the Garden of Eden to symbolize the relationship He wanted with His church. At TLC, we believe in investing in our marriages. We offer a series of classes with videos, work books, and lots of laughter to help couples navigate through the issues and thrills of married life. Learn how to have Biblical love and respect in your marriage, and what your role is according to the Bible. If you and your spouse want to know what God wants in your marriage, whether you have been married 5 months or 50 years, this class id for you. These classes work in conjunction with our couples’ nights and annual marriage retreat.
End-Time Bible Study
What are the signs of the end times? What should I do? What exactly does 666 mean? What is the New World Order? What happens to America? Does the Bible tell us how much time we have before the end? Find out what the Bible says about the end times and get answers to these and many other questions. Contact our office to find out when and where these classes are being held.
Home Bible Study
If you prefer we come to your home to explore God’s Word together, we would be happy to do so. Or you can schedule a study at one of our minister’s homes. You can also join one of our Home Fellowship groups, where you will meet others and study the Bible together.
